The members of the Working Group of Experts on the Improvement of Media Legislation, created under the Parliamentary Media Commission, had a meeting on May 5 with the Romanian MEP Dragoș Tudorache, member responsible for Moldova of the Democracy Support and Election Coordination Group (DEG), on a visit to Chisinau.
At the center of the discussions were subjects such as the activity of mass media institutions, the draft law on access to information of public interest, ensuring the transparency of the financing of audiovisual media services, the tools to combat disinformation and propaganda.
On the sidelines of the visit, Dragoș Tudorache had a meeting with the president of the Commission for Culture, Education, Research, Youth, Sport and Mass Media, Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, and also participated in the meeting of the respective commission.
The visit of the Romanian MEP Dragoş Tudorache in Moldova has their own in the context of the preparatory mission within the “Triangle for Democracy” Program, as shown in the press release sent by the Chisinau Legislature.
