Between July and October 2014, the Electronic Press Association implemented the project “Production and broadcast on regional television stations of a cycle of thematic shows as part of the information campaign regarding the benefits of the Association Agreement with the EU”.
Within the project, APEL’s team of experts provided support and assistance to 22 regional and local television stations, members of the Meridian and Aici networks, for the production and broadcasting of a thematic cycle of 8 shows of 20-30 minutes each, with the generic “Moldova, Europe. For a normal life”.
In the 8 shows, the following topics were addressed:
- European programs for young people
- Environmental solutions with European support
- European funds for drinking water supply
- Export of domestic products
- European-inspired success stories
- European projects with local impact
- EU support for small business
- European investments on the left side of the Nistru river
The purpose of this project, financially supported by the Soros Moldova Foundation, was to contribute to better informing citizens, mainly from rural areas, about the benefits of the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European Union, by providing truthful information about this process.
